Role Overview
The Safety Manager at DeepX is responsible for ensuring the Functional Safety of our AI semiconductor—an essential component of autonomous mobility—so that end customers can enjoy safe and reliable driving experiences. This role establishes and institutionalizes policies for Functional Safety across the entire product life cycle, from hardware and software design to post-mass-production stages. The Safety Manager continuously monitors compliance, provides guidance to engineers, and oversees all aspects of functional safety.

Responsibilities
□ Design ISO 26262 Functional Safety policies and processes
□ Identify and specify safety requirements during HW/SW design and development phases
□ Monitor, assess, and improve internal compliance with applicable standards
□ Ensure safety through hazard analysis and risk assessment
□ Provide internal training and guidance for standard compliance
□ Manage safety operations and address issues after mass production
□ Oversee certification processes
Qualifications
□ Experience working with the ISO 26262 standard
□ Hands-on experience with ASIL B or higher
□ Experience in semiconductor SoC design or architecture
□ Ability to communicate clearly and make sound decisions based on evidence
□ Proficiency in English for effective communication
Preferred Qualifications
□ Experience in system semiconductor design
□ Experience working with various semiconductor IPs
□ Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse global customers and internal teams
□ Experience with ISO 26262 audits or assessments
