At DEEPX, Generative AI Specialists are responsible for researching all state-of-the-art technologies needed to bring generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models) to edge computing environments.
This role focuses on optimizing existing generative AI models for scalable and efficient inference on edge devices, as well as researching the latest generative models and optimization techniques.
The role requires close collaboration with the Deep Learning Team, DL Compiler Team, and NPU Hardware Team to commercialize generative AI through integration with edge devices.
You will play a key role in transforming generative AI models to a form compatible with DEEPX NPUs, adapting them for internal use by DEEPX’s AI technology development teams, and implementing system-level optimizations to maximize performance on DEEPX hardware.

□ Analyze SOTA generative AI models and track global trends
□ Develop and improve model compression techniques (e.g., quantization) for generative AI
□ Optimize generative AI models for deployment on DEEPX NPUs (edge devices)
□ Develop new generative AI technologies optimized for DEEPX hardware platforms
□ Strong logical thinking and evidence-based communication skills
□ Background in AI-related fields with a passion for deep learning and generative AI
□ Practical experience with generative AI models such as open-source LLMs and Stable Diffusion
□ Experience developing models using AI frameworks such as PyTorch, Keras, or TensorFlow
□ Proficiency in Python programming
□ Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields
□ Publications or presentations at top-tier AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, AAAI, EMNLP)
□ Experience in developing pre-training or inference engines for language models
□ Proficiency in at least one DNN model optimization technique (Quantization, Pruning, Knowledge Distillation, etc.)
□ Recognition in AI competitions or leaderboard rankings
□ Knowledge of advanced vision models such as Vision Transformers or Deformable CNNs and their applications
